Thanks again for supporting our regatta this year.

US Rowing Officials

This Regatta is a fully registered regatta with USRowing. 

We have 5 US Rowing officials coming with Shelley Kerr as the Head Official. 

Boat Storage and Parking

Trailers will met at teh dirt road entrance toe h North Shore of LLV on Summer House Drive and then led into the area. It is important that I have the trailer drivers numbers so we can communicate. No Spectators will be allowed at the BH area.Please have your trailer drivers contact Jimm Andersen (415-309-9421) and give me ETA's. 

Schedule of Events

The race schedule and up and all the coaches will have input if we have weather issues. We will do a lane draw on Friday.

Please use this to register your teams. I have made lineups optional as I know this is an early race, but I would love them for publicity. Entry fees have been held at $ 1,500 per team to cover the costs even though we do not have 7 teams coming.

Coaches Launch for races

We will continue to have our 25XL available for the coaches to watch the races. We will also have a Cameraman/Announcer and go Live on the Lake Las Vegas Rowing Club Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/LakeLasVegasRow/.

Bow Ball and Footboard inspection

A referee will go around on Friday afternoon and inspect all your boats for safety compliance.

Practice and Launch use

Practice on the course is permitted on  Friday from 10 am- 5 pm, Saturday and Sunday practice depends on the weather. We will  have two coaching launches available during practice. Please contact Jim with your practice schedules and we will do the best to accommodate your coaching needs.

Traffic Pattern

We use a Clockwise pattern on the lake during practice and racing. Once you leave the dock (bow first) please go towards the dam  and stay close to the dam. Follow the Dam past the attached dock and towards the large Condo and Marina. Then turn down the lake and floolow the shore all the way to the stake boats. Then go ahead and go on the course all the way to the finsh line.  There will be two red buoys in a warm up area if you choose to use it. Be safe as you turn around the buoys and watch for other crews.

After your race you may proceed towards the boathouse docks or take a coold down lap as long as you do not interfere with other crews warming up. Do not stop on the finish line.

Weigh ins

There will be no weigh-ins for coxswains at this regatta.
