6 REGATTA - TIPS & HINTS

1.  Learn the Race Course - Know the Buoys!  Don't Get Penalized for missing them!

2.  Warm Up - Prior to your race Use Warm Up Loop

3.  Dress in Layers - for all types of weather at the beach... blankets, chairs, binoculars. sunscreen...

4.  Avoid the Parking Ticket. Do not Park on State Park Roads. Park at Pelican Bay Marina Parking Lot.

5.  Submit Rowers Bio in Registration Form to hear your Competitors Names recognized and announced 

6.  Help with Clean Up!   ...then join after party at RMRC Boathouse

Are you an Out of Town Rower looking for a seat in a boat to race in The 5280?  RMRC’s Grant Davis will help find you find that seat with RMRC rowers to create a “Combined Boat”.  Please contact Grant at [email protected].

Where is the best place to watch the race?  There several places to watch the race from:  1.  HQ Beach - Start Line. 2. Along the Dam 3.  Swim Beach - NE of Dam, 4.  RMRC Boathouse Area. 4.  Beach - Finish Line next to Boathouse Parking Lot... Bring Binoculars and Cameras...

What is the cost of Parking?  @ West Entrance- Cherry Creek State Park -Automobile Parking Cost  = $11 per vehicle

How long is the head race?   5280 meters, final length dependent on conditions

Can I row more than one event?   Yes, you can race multiple times and Hot bSeat as long as you can make the race start time.

How do I get my bow and bib number?   We will be setting up a location for pickups. We'll update the site once we have these details nailed down.  Race Packets  Race packet pickup starts at 5:30 am at Main Tent. Packets will be organized by club.
