Directions:

GPS will get you most of the way there, but regardless of what your GPS tells you, when exiting off of East Highway 6, take Hallsburg Road (FM-3222) to Hall Drive to reach the reservoir (especially if you are trailering or on a team bus). DO NOT TAKE HARRISON ROAD.  It is not passable for trailers or buses (it is narrow and winding with low slung trees and potholes). 

Parking:

The Waco Rowing Center is providing free parking in three lots for the regatta. Two of the lots are on the far west side of the park and one lot is up the hill at Hallsburg City Hall. When you drive into the venue on Hall Drive, you will be greeted by parking attendants at the corner of Hall Drive and Wilbanks Drive. The attendants will let you know if the lots nearest the reservoir are already full, or if you should proceed down the hill. If you find yourself parking at Hallsburg City Hall and not wanting to walk 0.5 miles to the venue, we will be providing a looping shuttle service to and from the City Hall lot.  We will have attendants overseeing our three free lots from Friday to Sunday. 

NOTE: The City of Hallsburg passed a city ordinance prohibiting parking on the roadways along, adjacent to, and outside the reservoir. Please help us, and yourselves, by making sure you DO NOT PARK ALONG THE ROADWAYS. The Sheriff’s Department will be on site and cars violating the city ordinance may be towed. 

NOTE: There are some Hallsburg locals who are offering paid parking through the weekend. Please know The Waco Rowing Center is not associated or affiliated with any of these paid lots. Use your discretion if you choose to park in one of the paid lots.
