Generally speaking: the turn you make at the start marshal is what gives you separation between you and the boat ahead of you. Anchored boats in False Creek will generate modifications on regatta day to ensure your safety.

While on the water, keep all yellow or multicoloured separation buoys on your port side.

Do not park trailers or put boats in the area that is not marked off by cones. That is outside the permit for the event and you may get tickets.
