Head of the Fort

The first Head of the Fort was held 10 years ago, after the Township of Langley and Bedford Landing Developers built the present day boathouses on the Bedford Channel, Fort Langley, British Columbia. It had been a dream of UFV Rowing to host a spring event, and as the support and future development brought in by the Township of Langley allowed UFV Rowing to co-host the inaugural Western Canadian University Championships 2008 and be the site host for the 2008 Canadian University Rowing Championships, it was important to be able to share what we enjoyed about rowing on the Bedford Channel.
