Desert Sprints Introduces Two-Day Format, Efficiency Trophies
Big changes are in store for the 2018 Desert Sprints Regatta. Saturday will be exclusively 2000-meter races for Juniors, while Saturday will feature a Masters-only lineup of 1000-meter races.
In addition, this year's Desert Sprints Regatta will include efficiency trophies for the top Junior club on Saturday and top Masters club on Sunday. Points will be calculated using USRowing criteria: The Efficiency Trophy is calculated by dividing the overall total points for each club (determined using table below) by the number of registered competitors from the corresponding club. Note: A club must have 3 or more competitors in order to qualify.
