Spring 2025 Modified Sculling

Open to athletes of Our Lady of Mercy and McQuaid Jesuit entering grades 6-8. It is a great way for rowers to further develop their skills on and off the water. The program is designed for new rowers, previous Learn-To-Row participants, and those not eligible to join our competitive team. Sessions are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, for six weeks at the Genesee Waterways Boathouse. These sessions will include a combination of land training, erg work, and on-water instruction.

Learn to Row 2025

Our Learn to Row camp is designed for grade 6-12 girls who are new to rowing. Participants will learn the mechanics of rowing from experienced Mercy Crew coaches/members. They will learn rowing techniques, concepts, terminology, safety procedures, and boat and oar handling. Students who plan to row for Mercy Crew in Fall 2025 are encouraged to attend.
