U-23 Membership

U-23 membership is open to collegiate rowers who want to keep training in the summer on Long Pond. To be eligible for membership, individuals must pass the CCCR Recreational shell Captain's Test and have an active USRowing basic or championship membership. U-23 members may have the opportunity to be assistant coaches in the youth and/or masters programs to have fee waived.

ADULT LEARN TO ROW CLASS - AUGUST Session

This class is an introduction to sculling. Participants will meet for a total of 5 classes over 2 weeks and learn boat safety, boat setup, and the basic stroke in a recreational single shell. A USRowing Learn to Row or Basic membership is REQUIRED and should be obtained prior to completing this registration. To purchase a membership go to https://membership.usrowing.org/individual/join. Classes will meet on August 19, 21, 23, 26, 28. Classes will be held rain or shine with off the water instruction on high wind days. One make up class per session will be offered on August 30 if a class is cancelled due to weather.

Adult members only coached rows provide an opportunity to develop rowing skills.

Friday rows are for those interested in racing/ race training. Additional rows will be added based upon interest.

Participants will meet for a total of 5 classes over 2 weeks to improve their skills in recreational singles and larger boats. YOUTH SUMMER MEMBERSHIP for Experienced Rowers

This membership is for experienced rowers who have participated in CCCR programs in the past 2 years want to get extra time on the water this summer.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FOR EXPERIENCED ROWERS ONLY who have rowed in our past spring or fall sessions. If you are not sure, please contact us!

This membership will take place on Mon/Tues/Thurs from June 30-August 21st and available for experienced rowers who have proficient rowing skills through our programs or at other schools and want to get extra time on the water this summer. If you have not rowed with CCCR, please send your rowing level and coach's information to [email protected] before registering.

A coach will be on the water with the youth rowers M/T/Th from 6:30am-8:00am with a a mix of available boats - sculling, sweep and bigger boats.

This group will NOT MEET the week of August 11th because of Sweeps weeks

Prerequisites: Novice Sculling Clinic or previous sculling experience

Prerequisites: Novice Sculling
This clinic will help rowers continue to develop proficiency in rowing technique and moving the shell efficiently on the water. This class will build upon previous knowledge, comfort levels and rowing skills.
