Important Update

The River Rowing Association (RRA) sorely regrets having to cancel its
25K George Washington Bridge to Tappan Zee Bridge invitational boat race
this September 7. Delays to repair of our dock (post-Sandy), and construction
of a new, replacement Tappan Zee Bridge have made the race impractical and
unsafe. But the RRA vows to bring it back next year, when, with any luck,
there will be fewer construction barges to obstruct the course, and new bridge
towers to navigate by. For those who have not been here, the Hudson River
between Fort Lee, NJ and Nyack, NY provides a dramatic backdrop for what
could become a grand race to open the fall season, and none appreciate this
better than those at River Rowing, who are eager to be your host in 2014.
