Due to the construction associated with the million dollar (+) renovations going on at the beach at Harsha Lake, East Fork State Park, we have decided to cancel the Head of the Hidden Dragon this year.
The old bathroom/concession stand is gone and the state is about to start on its replacement in the coming weeks so it will be finished before Clermont Crew hosts the Club Nationals in July 2015.
That leaves us with a dirt hole where the old building used to be and no facilities at all. No water, no electric and no bathrooms. We (Clermont Crew, CRC, Clermont Conventions and Visitors Bureau and ODNR) feel that it would be best to cancel this year’s head race and concentrate on making next year fabulous with new digs to show off.
