The Inagural Ventnor City Sprint & Coastal Regatta

• 7am: Volunteers Meeting at Ski Beach.
• 8am: Rowers' Meeting at Ski Beach. Review of course and conditions.  
• 8:30am: Star Spangled Banner on the Bag Pipes by Norm Wilson (Pipes & Drums)
• 8:45am: First Race. Men's 1x (Heat 1)
• All event times are subject to change depending on the weather, rain delays, etc...
• This event is open to all ages and categories. Juniors, Masters, Alumni, Lifeguard & Coastal
• The length of the course is 1500 meters. The water is tidal and brackish. Floating Start. 3 lanes across. 
• The launch site for all rowers is at Viking Rowing Club John Holland Boathouse (Surrey & Calvert Aves.)
• Boat Trailers will also be available at Ski Beach to hold boat rentals and allow hot seating between races.
• The finish line for spectators is at Ski Beach (Dorset Ave & the Bay, or 5900 Burke Ave. on GPS)
• Parking at the finish line is limited. Please print parking pass. Street parking available on Burke Avenue.
• 1-3pm: After Party at Vagabond. Free to all participants, volunteers, and kids under 12... $20 donation to Viking Rowing Club for additional friends and family.
