It's time for...Desert Sprints Regatta 2022!

We missed seeing everyone last year, but we're back in action with a great regatta lined up to kick off your 2022 racing season. With our fully buoyed Albano racecourse and stakeboats, it's an ideal way to get accurate times and fair racing to assess your early season speed.

As is our tradition, Saturday will include juniors for the first part of the day, with open and masters racing in the afternoon so you can race the full 2000m to prepare for the San Diego Crew Classic and the rest of your season. Sunday will be masters and open racing at 1000m.

What's new for 2022?

• Juniors categories will be aligned to the new age-based USRowing system, and there will not be lightweight events.
• We also have included several freshman events.
• Heavily subscribed masters events will include heats-to-finals where possible.
• We're adding some "grab-bag" racing for the masters—sculling and sweep—at the end of the day on Sunday. Put your name in a hat, figure out your lineup, and hit the water!
