Vernon Rowing and Dragon Boat Club is excited to host the 2025 Lap the Lake regatta on the beautiful waters of Swan Lake.

Boat start pattern and course.

As in the previous years, for rowers unable to bring their shells to the venue, we might be able to provide an option to borrow one of ours. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Glen Stiven at [email protected] ASAP to discuss what can be arranged. We cannot guarantee availability of a boat, but we will base it on best efforts.

Update 2025-06-08:

2025 will be the inaugural year of the FOUNDERS' CUP.

The trophy will be awarded to the overall winner of the regatta. This winner will be determined by applying the Gold Medal Standard handicap for boat type and the Garrett-Zezza method for age and gender, a system successfully trialled in the 2024 event. The name of the deserving victor(s) will then be engraved on the trophy's accompanying plaque. 

For any crews travelling from outside of BC, please do your part to keep invasive zebra and quagga mussels out of our waters by ensuring to CLEAN, DRAIN and DRY all equipment before loading your trailer.
