The Trillium Kick-Off is a 2500m Time Trial, racing SE down the Credit River toward Lake Ontario.  

Athletes will race with their age category (as defined in the Regatta Information Package).  The order in which age categories will race will be randomly determined, and age categories will be assigned to groups after entries close and posted in the final draw. 

• Group launch times and race start times will be posted in the final draw. 
• There are no weight categories or age handicaps in the ROWONTARIO Trillium Chase 1x Challenge Series. 
• Athletes will be randomly seeded within each age category at the discretion of the Regatta Manager.

IMPORTANT: I.D. REQUIREMENTS

All competitors will be required to show proof of age and identity at the Control Commission prior to launching by producing government issued documentation with a photo.  Identification will only be accepted if it includes the athlete’s birthdate and photo.

A birth certificate or other government issued documentation without a photo will be acceptable for Under 13 and Under 15 athletes only. Under 13 and Under 15 athletes must show their ID to the Regatta Manager a minimum of 1 hour before their scheduled time trial start time.  Unverified I.D. without a photo will not be accepted at Control Commission for Under 13 and Under 15 athletes.

The Trillium Chase is a monthly 1x Challenge Series – a single sculler’s ‘Grand Prix’ – organized by ROWONTARIO. Each month, single scullers of all ages will have the opportunity to earn points toward the ROWONTARIO Trillium Cup, which will be co-awarded to the male and female sculler, regardless of category, who wins the most points throughout the Series.
