We hope everyone is staying safe an looking forward to getting on the water and back to racing again as soon as this clears up.

There was an announcement this morning that the Masters golf tournament (which was postponed due to Covid-19) has picked a new weekend for their competition. They chose November 9-15.

Even though we are routinely one of the top 10 largest regattas in the country and the 3rd largest single day regatta, we are NO MATCH for the Masters. There would be nowhere for you to sleep so we MUST move the HOTS. We looked later, and we looked earlier. Later doesn't work for a variety of reasons, so we will try earlier this year.

Saturday, October 31st. The weekend before the Hooch will be the HOTS this year. You can still end your season with 2 of the largest 10 regattas in the country, just in reverse order this year.

                            EXCITING NEW CHANGES ARE HAPPENING AT HEAD OF THE SOUTH!!!

Team tents and vendors will now be up stream of the boathouse. This gives us ample room for trailers and shells down stream and gives the tents more area to enjoy some great racing.

NO TEAM BUSES will be allowed to park on racing site. Buses will drop off and pick up at the Reynolds/East Boundary drop off location (see map below).  Buses will need to drop off/pick up from the right side of the street (levee side).

Buses can park at James Brown Arena (601 7th st., Augusta, GA 30901) or return to their hotel until the team is ready to be picked up. Have buses arrive no more than 10 minutes before your team is ready to leave the venue.

Team trucks & boat trailers will enter the venue at the Prep Philips Drive entrance (see venue map). Food drop offs will occur at the Reynolds/East Boundary drop off.  You will have 10 minutes to unload and then you will need to park your vehicle outside the venue.
