Club Team Eligibility Form

Note on Eligiblity-

As in past years, Varsity Status programs are responsible for determining their own eligibility via their Institutional and Athletic Department standards.

For Club Athletes the following addendum to the Bylaws applies-

ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES: Due to the significant impact on rosters and programs over the past two seasons, the WIRA
Board has revised our eligibility guidelines for the 2022 WIRA Championship Regatta only.

NOVICE ELIGIBILITY: Any athlete that started their collegiate competition from Fall, 2019 or later remains eligible for
Novice competition in the 2022 WIRA Championship Regatta.

ATHLETE ELIGIBILITY: An athlete at the WIRA Championship Regatta typically has four years of eligibility to compete
within five years of starting their first semester at a collegiate institution. Due to the impact of COVID-19, the 2020 and
2021 season of competition is forgiven even if an athlete was able to race. Any athlete attending a collegiate institution
during the fall of 2019 through the spring of 2021 will have six years to complete their four years of eligibility.
