Heat Sheets

NOTE: The updated schedule has been posted under the schedule tab and to rowtown.org

In an effort to prioritize getting in all the races and avoid too many changes the day of, we will be making the following changes to the schedule.  The sequential order of events will not change, so it shouldn't affect any plans for doubling rowers in multiple events.

  1. The schedule will be inverted.  So College Men Varsity Eight will be the first race of the day, and High School Men Novice Double will be the last race
  2. The first race will start at 11 AM
  3. There will be no lunch break
  4. This should put the last race around 4 PM.

Heat Sheets are posted on rowtown.org. Please check back as race times may vary slightly due to scratches/changes.

Reserve Tent Space

Teams can reserve up to two 10’x20’ tent spots (two spots will be a 20’x20’ space) and the reservation is good for both Frostbite and Braxton regattas on Saturday and Sunday.

Team Tents, Team Food Trailers & Parents
Dropping off Food Tent Supplies

  1. Teams that would like a tent in the spectator area must register for a spot on RegattaCentral using above link. Each tent spot is a 10’x20′ space and teams may register for up to twospots. A team that reserves two spots will have a 20’x20’ space.
  2. Each team that registers for tent space will receive a marked off spot for their team tent in the spectator area and will be labeled with the team name. These are assigned in order of tent reservation and spots will be labeled with the team name.
  3. Each team with a tent space reservation will be allowed to park a chuck wagon or one designated vehicle in the chuck wagon parking area. Vehicles are not allowed to drive directly to their tent spot. The designated chuck wagon parking area is the closest you may drive to your tent spot.
  4. Chuck wagons may arrive beginning Friday at noon and anytime throughout the regatta.
  5. Parents will be able to drive their cars to the chuck wagon parking area no earlier than Friday at 12pm. Tents may be set up Friday after 12 pm and anytime throughout the regatta. Tents should be staked and items may remain on site throughout the weekend, but tents should be lowered as far as possible overnight as wind can be a hazard. On race days, cars transporting items for the food tent must park in the spectator parking field and utilize golf carts to transport items to the tent.
  6. PNRA volunteers will assist parents dropping off food with golf carts. Parents bringing food to the event on race days will need to park in the spectator parking lot and utilize golf carts for transporting items to the tents. Parents are encouraged to bring wagons and hand carts in order to avoid waiting for a golf cart.
  7. Email PNRA Events Manager Hilary Gehman with questions at [email protected].

Cold Weather Policy

When air and water temperature combined is lower than 90 degrees, a committee
formed of the Chief Referee, a PNRA representative and a Frostbite/Braxton representative will meet to
determine the safety concerns for holding races. At the minimum, there will be additional marshalling
launches placed in the warmup and cooldown areas to minimize risk for small boats.
