UPDATE 12:45 P.M. EST PRACTICE UPDATE: Due to the current wind conditions, we are going to delay practice until 3:00pm EST. Launch docks will open at 3pm, practice will end at 6:00pm EST. Last launch 5:30pm EST.

We will review weather conditions again at 2:30pm EST.

Coach & Support Staff Registration

Any coach or team support staff attending the regatta who will need access to the team restricted areas, such as the launch and recovery docks & trailer areas etc. must register for this event on RegattaCentral. Names must be registered by the person who made entries for the team. Teams will input their coaches and support staff by clicking on ‘Coaches & Support Staff’ option under the Registration tab in RegattaCentral.

All coaches and support staff must be on this list prior to the start of the event, and must be compliant with the SafeSport requirements, to receive accreditation wristbands upon arrival to the venue.

USRowing Regatta Declaration

During the Athlete and Coaches Pre-Regatta Meeting, there was a question asked about interference during time trials. That question was answered incorrectly, please see the correct ruling below.  

2-406 Resolving Interference (a) Upon determining that a Crew is guilty of Interference, the Referee shall take such action as is necessary and sufficient to restore the aggrieved Crew’s fair opportunity of winning, placing or advancing. (b) Appropriate restoration actions include those described in Rule 2-603 (“Restoring Opportunity of Winning; Altering Results”),or imposing one of the penalties described in Rule 2-602 (“Type of Penalties”). (c) The appropriate penalty for Interference shall be presumed to be exclusion. Nevertheless, the Referee may impose a different penalty on the offending Crew, or no penalty, if he or she finds that special circumstances existed. Special circumstances may exist (but are not limited) when fairness can be sufficiently restored to the aggrieved Crew, and imposing a lesser or no penalty on the offending Crew does not adversely affect the rights of any other Crew in the Race.
