UPDATE [11:50PM, MAY 4]

The start times of events 1-32 will remain the same tomorrow. Event 57 - Open Gender Youth 2x has been moved and will now start at 12:32pm, concluding the first half of racing. The second half of racing will be pushed back by 5 minutes, with event 33 - Womens U15 4x+ now starting at 1:29pm.

Lane draws for all semifinals completed today have been updated to accommodate the progression listed in the entry packet.

UPDATE [12:33PM, MAY 4]

Due to on going weather conditions the second half of racing is canceled for today. Events 1-16 have completed all semi finals and will proceed with 6 boats progressing to the finals on Sunday. Events 18-50 have not completed semi finals and will proceed with the top 7 time trial times advancing to the finals on Sunday. 

The progressions will be live by 5:00pm. The Sunday race schedule will remain the same.

UPDATE [11:26AM, MAY 4]

The second half of racing has been pushed back by 1 hour to both allow staff to properly prepare for the remaining races for today and to continue to assess rowing conditions. Racing will resume at 1:00pm with the Mens U17 8+Semifinal 1. The online schedule will be updated accordingly.

Due to weather conditions we are unable to safely and effectively obtain drone footage for the live broadcast. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

UPDATE [8:27 PM, MAY 3]

We would like to inform you that the race schedule will run as planned. We will actively monitor weather and water conditions tomorrow morning and throughout the day. Should there be any determination of unsafe water conditions, real-time updates will be disseminated to the public through the USRowing texting system.

If you haven't already, we encourage you to sign up for the 2024 USRowing Southwest Youth Regional Championships text message alerts by texting #SW24 to +1 (609) 354-7711, or by clicking HERE to sign up. After texting, remember to click the link to add your contact information to our community list.

Please take note of the following guidelines for tomorrow:

• The schedule will not be altered.
• In the event that a race cannot take place on Saturday, the top 7 times from the time trial will progress to the finals on Sunday.
• If any event is not completed in its entirety, it will revert to the time trial times, with the top 7 times advancing to the finals on Sunday.
• Rule 8 of the Southwest Regatta By-Laws and Guidelines concerning scratching after entering a progression will be temporarily suspended for tomorrow (Saturday) ONLY
• Rule 3-201(a)’s requirement that competitors wear “identical clothing”  is suspended for tomorrow (Saturday) ONLY. All other requirements of rule 3-201, remain in effect.

Coach & Support Staff Registration

Any coach or team support staff attending the regatta who will need access to the team restricted areas, such as the launch and recovery docks & trailer areas etc. must register for this event on RegattaCentral. Names must be registered by the person who made entries for the team. Teams will input their coaches and support staff by clicking on ‘Coaches & Support Staff’ option under the Registration tab in RegattaCentral.

All coaches and support staff must be on this list prior to the start of the event, and must be compliant with the SafeSport requirements, to receive accreditation wristbands upon arrival to the venue.
