Coming out of a fast pace afternoon of time trials, congrats to all crews for fast racing!

Due to the challenges that the wind brought to race operations, we are working to finalize and make official all currently unofficial racing times. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this. 

The race schedule for tomorrow, May 11, will follow the previously shared schedule HERE. The Time-Team system will be updated by the end of the night with the correct schedule as well.

UPDATE 5/10 12:00 P.M.

Coaches & Athletes, 

Thank you for your patience as we work through the high winds and creating a safe and fair schedule. Here is the updated schedule and plan for the next two days: 

We are going to start racing today, Saturday May 10 at 2:30 p.m. We are prioritizing bigger boats to start racing and ending the day with the smaller boats. As shown below in the schedule, we will be racing events in the following segments: 

• Youth 8+’s/4’s
• U17 8+’s/4’s
• Youth 2’s/1x’s 
• U17 2’s/1x’s / All U16 boats / Youth Inclusive 2x

The following notes were taken into consideration and should be noted if we have to adjust racing further due to wind:

• Racing starts at 2:30 p.m. to accommodate teams getting their crews back to the course who were originally planning to race later in the day. 
• There are three “breaks” within the schedule to accommodate shell sharing / athlete doubling within the various racing blocks. 
• If wind picks up towards the end of the day, we would move small boat time trials to tomorrow morning, and cancel the Non-Qualification heats and semis, but currently, the Sunday schedule posted on the below sheet is what is planned.

UPDATE 5/9 7:30 P.M.

Coaches & Athletes, 

Due to 30+ mph gusts of wind for the majority of tomorrow, with the strong winds concentrated earlier in the day, we are delaying racing until 2:00 p.m. tomorrow. 

Currently, time trials for all events will take place on Saturday afternoon. Sunday is currently planned to follow  the below schedule, with a 7:30 a.m. start time. 

• Non-Youth National Qualifying Events Heats
• Youth National Qualifying Events Finals 
• Non-Youth National Qualifying Events Finals 

Please note that if conditions prevent us from completing all time trials on Saturday, we will move some of the time trials to Sunday morning, which may result in cancellation of the Non-Youth Nationals qualifying events. This prioritization plan follows the “schedule change priority system” in the entry packet. 

We will send out another status update at 12:00 p.m. tomorrow.

USRowing Registration on Saturday will now start at 11:00 a.m.
