The Greater Lawrence Community Boating Program, Inc. (GLCBP) has taught sailing and rowing for over 25 years.  Situated on the Merrimack River in Lawrence above the Great Stone Dam that ushered in the Industrial Revolution to the area, this regatta is actually on a tree lined section of the river that is free of boating traffic.  With four lanes an easy row from the launch site, the course is very accessible.  Plenty of parking is available and the ample viewing area is great for spectators and competitors alike.  The boathouse is two story and available for bathrooms and meetings.  Past regattas have been very fun and well-run.  GLCBP is only about two miles off route 93 and about a half hour north of Boston.  You can view our website at www.greaterlawrencerowing.com.
