Visit historic downtown Petaluma for antique shopping and California cuisine. Peet's Coffee & Tea on the Boulevard. The Water Street Bistro, Dempsey's, The River House, or Petaluma's newest, Graffiti, in the turning basin for lunch or dinner.
Dillon Beach is just 30 minutes west of Petaluma.
The wine country begins in Petaluma and is all around us within 30 minutes drive. Try McEvoy Olive Oil Company in West Petaluma and Tomales Bay Foods in Point Reyes Station.
A KOA campground is just minutes away.
The Sheraton Hotel for upscale lodging is a few miles away. Or, try the Metro Hotel for eclectic lodging, within walking distance to the Foundry Wharf.
