The event site for 2009 will be at Oaks Amusement Park, Portland. The park is near the east end of the Sellwod Bridge, just beyond Sellwood Riverfront Park. Parking for rowing is beyond the ferris wheel, in front of the boathouses at the south end of the park.
The course is a 3-mile (approx.) stake race that starts and finishes near the launching dock.
