Dear Collegiate Rowing Competitor:  
 
The 74th REGATTA, known this year as the ABERDEEN DAD VAIL REGATTA, sponsored by Aberdeen Asset Management, will be held on May 11th and 12th, 2012 on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, PA . Please accept our invitation to join as an Affiliate Member* of the ABERDEEN DAD VAIL REGATTA which is an OPEN Regatta. This affiliation is offered instead of any other membership requirements. The Affiliate Fee for the 2012 Regatta is $1200.00. As an Affiliate Member School you will be entitled to the following advantages: 
 

1. First four boats entered are free - This includes Singles,Pairs, Fours or Eights.  
   The entry fee for the Single is $150.00.
2. A reduced boat entry fee - If you enter more than four boats you pay only $200.00 for each additional boat. Non-Affiliates pay $400.00 for each boat entered.
3. Guaranteed entry to all events in the Regatta – As an Affiliate Member  
   You need not worry, one entry in each event is guaranteed.  
   (Please note that all entries must be received by the Deadline Date.) 
   Non-Affiliates will be entered on a space available basis.

 
The following amenities are available for all participants.  

• Complimentary Food Tent for all athletes both Friday and Saturday.
• Potential financial support to Henley Royal Regatta or Henley Women’s Regatta for selected successful crews.
• Free Alumni Site on the banks of the river - A great way to entertain and to assemble former rowers and friends of rowing.

 
To accept our invitation and become an Affiliate Member School, please register at Regatta Central (Click here for the Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta 2012 Affiliate Registration Form at Regatta Central) and remit the Affiliate Member School fee of $1200.00 to Regatta Central. You must remit payment by December 31, 2011. 
 
Whether you become an Affiliate Member School or not, you will enjoy all the improvements that we have in place for the 2012 ABERDEEN DAD VAIL REGATTA. Athletes and coaches will enjoy the convenience of our launch area with our state of the art launch docks. Located below the race course, this area allows crews to practice on the river, and also makes launching before the race and docking after the race very convenient. The new awards dock should be exciting for all medal winners. 
 
Regatta Central serves as Internet Agent for Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta registration purposes and all Dad Vail entries. Please register at Regatta Central and remit all payments to them. REMEMBER THE AFFILIATE DEADLINE IS December 31, 2011.

The Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta is a U.S.R.A. registered Regatta.
