The Venue:
Clarks Bridge Park / Lake Lanier Olympic Center

Located in Gainesville, GA on beautiful Lake Lanier, this 25-acre park hosted the rowing, sprint canoe and kayaking events of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games.  

The Race Course:
Racing will take place on the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games rowing course, a buoyed, seven (7) lane, 2000 meter course with starting platforms, enclosed finish tower and stadium seating for 3000 spectators. 

Parking:
On race day, the Regatta provides free shuttle bus service from our remote parking site at the Gainesville Middle School.  Located only 3.6 miles from the race venue, the shuttle commute is a hassle-free 6-minute ride.  The parking lot address is:

There will be limited on-site parking available for passenger vehicles at a fee of $15 per vehicle.  The fee will be charged each time a vehicle enters the parking lot as we do not allow for free re-entrance once a parked vehicle leaves. 

Team Buses:
There is no on-site parking for buses at the venue.   Free bus parking is permitted at our remote parking site at the Gainesville Middle School.

Boat Trailers:
Trailer parking is located on the Boathouse-side of the Regatta venue.  Only boat trailers may park in this area as teams will receive one parking pass for their tow vehicle.  The tow vehicle parking lot is located a short walk from the trailer parking area.  Teams that leave a vehicle in the trailer area will not be permitted to race until the vehicle is removed.
