Row for the Cure - Portland/Vancouver

  • Hosted By: Station L Rowing Club
  • 2017 Registered Regatta

2017 marks the 24rd year of the Portland/Vancouver Row for the Cure.  The Portland Metro event is the founding race in the international Row for the Cure series of regattas benefiting the Susan G Komen Foundation.  In 2016 the format of the event was changed to facilitate greater involvement of the local Komen group.  The event was moved to the end of July from the end of September, the venue was changed from the Willamette River to Vancouver Lake at the Vancouver Lake Park, and it is now a sprint race instead of a head race.  The event enourages all rowers and paddlers to join together to raise money to support people battling breast cancer and to fund research.
