Upper Merion 54th Annual Regatta

  • Hosted By: Upper Merion High School

Any high-school team or high-school-age club rower is welcome to participate in Upper Merion's 54th Annual Regatta.  Non-scholastic clubs are welcome, but should apply the appropriate age/school grade to determine category.  If in doubt, please use the standard PSRA Eligibility rules to determine Novice/JV/Varsity categories.

We do not field a separate Freshman category, just combined Freshman/Novice events.

If there is only one boat in any category they don't get a medal unless they compete in the next highest category.  i.e. if a JV boat is competing against 2 Varsity boats and wins. .

All lightweights and flyweights will need to weigh in at the boathouse.  They should provide I.D. and get a wrist band.   If their event is in the morning half, they will need to weigh in one hour before the start of the first race.  A second weigh in opportunity will take place from 12-1pm for those afternoon lightweight events.

Alumni boats can be made up of any mix of men or women.

The mixed HS 8 must have at least 4 girls in it.

The mixed parent/child double requires the child to be of HS age or younger.

Rowers are not limited to any number of race.
