Registration:

  • The designated team captain should be the individual who completes the registration form (team captain should be seated at 4 for the 4x or 2 seat for the 2x). Please use an up to date email for the captain's RC login, or provide an alternative email in the bio section of the registration form. 
  • Make a new affiliation in order to enter your team name or type it into the Bio section. Please make all names family-friendly. 

Objective:

  • Each team member is responsible to travel a 10k a day in order for the team to progress through the challenge
  • This can be done in 1 session, or spread out over the course of the day
  • Each team that successfully completes each daily goal for the whole week will recieve a small token for their efforts

Tracking meters:

  • Teams can run, walk, erg, row, or bike in order to rack up there 10k/day totals
    • All running, walking and cycling meters must be racked up outdoors (we will not accept treadmill or stationary bike submissions)
    • Erging meters must be completed on a Concept2 erg (model does not matter)
    • Running, walking, rowing and erging meter totals count as is
    • Rowers can row in individual singles or in team boats with their teammates
    • Biking meter totals will be cut in half (example: a 12k bike session counts as 6k towards the daily total)
  • Your team captain will have access to a Google sheet where your team's daily meters will be updated. Each teammate must send verification of their meters via screenshot or photo of their session and send it to their captain. The team captain of each team is responsible for keeping their teammates screenshots and photos compiled. 
  • There are no handicaps for this event

Tracking Team Progress: 

  • Daily team progress will be posted on www.rowbuffalo.com, as well as our Instagram and Facebook

Verifying meters:

  • Upon completion of the competition, each team reporting a week's worth of successful 10k a day/athlete will send their compiled screenshots and photos for the regatta staff to verify the accuracy of that team's meter reporting. 

Prizes:

  • Teams that successfully complete the challenge will have their prizes mailed to their team captain
