Everyone is welcome! There are categories for all levels and age groups.Established in 1998 by former collegiate and Master's landlocked rowers living in the Phoenix area. First held at La Camarilla Racquet & Fitness Club before Tempe Town lake was constructed, the Arizona Indoor Rowing Championship has been an Arizona winter tradition for 24 years.
The event is a 2000 meter race on Conceot 2 rowing ergometers. There is also a 3000 meter 4+2 relays event (4 erging members and 2 assitants). There is a "Fitness" category for non-rowing athletes. Fitness participants row 500 meter races on Conceot 2 rowing ergometers.
