Friday Time Trials

Racing will begin on Friday at 8 am, with Time Trials.  Once Standard Entries have closed, and the schedule is finalized, the Order of Start for Time Trials will be posted to www.rowtown.org with a hyperlink HERE.  The Order of Start will be published by Monday, May 15th.

Friday Afternoon (PM) and Saturday Morning (AM) Semi-Finals

Semi-Finals will begin on Friday Afternoon (Late PM) and proceed until approx 6:15 - 6:30 pm.  They will continue on Saturday Morning (AM) at 8 am and run until mid-day.

All Semi-Finals will be conducted on 5 minute centers.  Coaches should review procedures for locking quickly onto Stake Boats.

Semi-Finals will be conducted as follows, based on the volume of Entries received under Standard Registration*:

• 1-6 Entries in Event =  Straight Final
• 7-12 Entries in Event = Top 6 to Final
• 13-29 Entries in Event = Top 12 to 2 Semi's and Top 3 to Finals
• 30+ Entries in Event = Top 18 to 3 Semi's and Top 2 to Finals

*As in past, Time Trials of Senior Eights and Senior Fours will progress into 3 Sem-Finals.

Saturday Afternoon (PM) Finals

Finals will begin on Saturday Afternoon (Mid-Day at approx 12-12:30 pm and proceed until approx 5:30 pm. 

Finals are currently scheduled to be conducted on 9 Minute centers.  Again, coaches should review procedures for locking quickly onto Stake Boats.

Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Finishes will be distributed immediately following each Final, on the water, at the Finish Line Dock.  First Place Champions (only) will be invited to step onto the Awards/Dock for Trophy Presentation and Photographs.
