Update at Saturday 5/17 - 6:00am
After reviewing the current river conditions, flow projections for the rest of today and a discussion at 5:30am with the Stotesbury Cup Regatta coaches committee, it has been decided to cancel racing today. The river conditions are simply unsafe.
Medals and trophies will be awarded based on the Friday's time trial results There is an awards platform at the Regatta HQ tent (large white tent - 200 meter mark) to celebrate their accomplishment. Boats and programs can arrive at their discretion between 9am and 12 noon. Row2k will be on hand to take photos.
For those programs that were using Stotesbury Cup Regatta as their qualifier and had any questions or concerns, please contact Joe Kieffer (267-228-1341 / [email protected]) directly.

Update at Friday 5/16 - 3:00pm
We have squeezed the schedule a bit for tomorrow's racing. We are positioned to get all planned semifinals and finals in and keeping to the original time frame. The new schedule is published here. - Revised SCR Semis / Finals Schedule .
A couple of quick points
- All semifinals that were originally scheduled for Thursday afternoon have been shifted to Friday morning.
- No semi finals or finals have been eliminated
- We have eliminated the lunch break (thank your referees & volunteers when you see them)
- The centers for Semi finals have remained the same at 5 mins.
- The centers for finals have been reduced to 7 mins
- The start of Saturday racing is at 8am with the first semi final - Event 1 Girls Junior 2X and the last semi is now at 1:35pm Semi 3 - Boys Senior 8 - Semi 3
- The finals start now at 1:40pm - Event 1 Girls Junior 2X and last event is at 5:03pm - Event 30 Boys Senior 8+

Update at Friday 5/16 - 10:45
We are suspending launching of crews, due to a fast approaching storm. The last event that will be allowed to race for now is event 12a (GIrls Junior 8 - 10:52). When the storm cell has safely past, we will resume launching / racing - starting with the next time trial (Boy Junior Quad - 13a). Please monitor X (Twitter) and your RC email for further update and the notice on when launching will resume

#Stotes2025 Coaches and Coxswains Meeting
All programs (at least one per school) were expected to attend the Coaches & Coxwains Meeting on Tuesday, May 13th at 7 pm, and all coaches, coxswains, and bow persons were encouraged to attend.
- Pre-Registrationis were necessary (and the Webinar caped out at a maximum level of participants).
- Registriation for the meeting was available by clicking HERE.
- You needed to register to receive the link to join.
- Please spread the word and give your and other crews the maximum level of success by ensuring that everyone has the information they need!

Important Communication Reminders
- Please follow and use #Stotes2025 hashtag on all social media feeds (including X/Twitter, Instagram, Snap etc).
- Results will be posted at www.rowtown.org (Live link to be added as we get closer to Friday, May 16th).
- X/Twitter Feed @StotesRegatta will be the primary mode of communication as we enter the final week before the regatta and during the regatta itself. Be sure you and others in your program are following this channel in advance for the latest updates and news (including weather alerts, etc).
- After X/Twitter, Regatta Central Regatta Bulletins will be the next mode for update.
- If you placed entries under a Regatta Central account that does not carry your own email, please alert the holder of that account (now) that you'll heed him/her to be on-point to forward all communication from us (email: [email protected]).
- The Stotesbury Regatta website itself will remain static and not refresh during the regatta.

Parents/ Fans: We hosted a final Parents/ Fans Webinar on Tuesday, May 14th with an overview of #Stotes. The recording is loaded HERE, and we recommend you forward it to 100% of your Parents.
Questions to nearly 100% of the answers regarding Stotesbury will be answered here; and, we will likely not be able to answer any additional questions via email.

- Saturday: Mostly cloudy, High of 79 Degrees. Rain Chance 24%, Winds SSW at 10-20 mph
- Prioritized/ Protected Events:
- If, due to weather and/or water conditions, significant racing time is lost and it is determined that the elimination of events is the best route to complete the regatta, the Regatta’s Core Executive Racing Committee** will schedule racing in the priority order as above in the left column.
- Note that, per USRowing, a regatta’s Chief Referee has final authority on the presence (or lack) of safe conditions.
- Events for Potential Elimination:
- If events have to be eliminated, the scratch order will be as above in the right column.
- If additional events can be included, they will be in order from the bottom of the right column.
