The regatta is 2000m,  on the Canada Summer Games course,  to allow younger athletes
to prepare for Canada Summer Games and the upcoming NWIRA Championships.

This year we will be allowing composite crews to allow Canada Summer Games crews race experience. For example Kenora Rowing Club and Winnipeg Rowing Club athletes in Manitoba Crew, Regina and Saskatoon in Saskatchewan Crew. American clubs can follow suit if it would be helpful for their upcoming competitions.

Masters can row hard the first 1000m and cool down the last 1000m if they
choose, but there will only be a finish time at the 2000m!
