3:32 PM WEATHER UPDATE: The remainder of racing has been CANCELLED for the U17/U15 Nationals Championships due to lightning. All crews that launched from the finish line site that were evacuated off of the water at the Camden County Boathouse can park their trailers curbside in front of the boathouse to load their shells. There will be equipment at the boathouse to assist in de-rigging boats.

Information on Progression and Schedule Update (as of 5/29/19)

Over the past few days, we have received numerous questions and concerns regarding the fairness of the published progression system for the U17 events at the U17/U15 National Championships, particularly in the events with 19+ entries. Using your input, we have decided to make a change in the progression system for the U17 events.

All U17 events will now race a time trial to finals format in order to ensure that the finals are seeded in the fairest possible manner. We will run time trials in all of the U17 events on Saturday, running on 30-minute centers to account for those athletes who are racing in multiple events.

The new progression is as follows:

Time Trial to Final: Top 6 to A final, 7-12 to B final, 13-18 to C final, 19-24 to D final, 25-30 to E final, 30-36 to F Final; 36 and above eliminated.

U15 events will run following the originally published progression.

In addition, due to the number of entries and length of the schedule, we have shifted racing up an hour on Sunday to a 7 a.m. start in order to address several teams with travel concerns on Saturday afternoon, while maintaining the ability for athletes to still race in multiple events.
