Youth Learn to Row-Camp #1

During each introductory camp, participants will learn the fundamentals of both Sweep and Sculling styles of rowing. In addition, we address, nutrition, physiology, equipment, terminology, and safety of being on and off the water while training. We discuss Collegiate Rowing opportunities and the importance of setting goals towards opportunities in rowing scholarships (the number 1 opportunity in college athletics). Following one of our summer camps, participants will have acquired the basics of the sport of Rowing and have developed a strong foundation of the skills necessary that can be built upon for one of our competitive rowing programs. PREREQUISITES: Registration Documents Camps are for ages 10-18 (athletes will be grouped by age and physical size) COST:$75 per 1-week session We provide water, Camp  T-Shirt, and a great team experience! Payments must be made at the time of online registration preceding camp. Those attending a summer Camp may row for Free at all other "Free Row" opportunities through the summer.
