Head of the Headless Oarsman

Hinsdale Community Rowing is excited to invite all scullers, seasoned pros as well as newbies to join us on the scenic Des Plaines River for our 2nd annual Head of the Headless Oarsman regatta. This 4k sculling event will be held on Saturday, September 28th. Enter your single, a double, a quad! Grab your sculling people and let's race! 

Important –

• REGISTRATION DEADLINE – Friday, September 20th
• FEES – Single $30, Double $40, Quad $60
• WAIVERS – Competitors will not be allowed on the course without a signed waiver.
• SCHEDULE – Event List times are tentative. The order of events will not change but the event times may be adjusted due to the number of entries. All changes will be posted once available.

NEW for 2019 –

• Open events added (*Juniors are welcome to compete in these events)
• Masters 1x events seperated into age categories
• 2-way traffic on the river
• Wider launch/recovery dock
• Medals (first place)
• No duck hunters
