Thank you to everyone who attended the 19th Annual Halifax Summer Regatta!

The weather forecast was the worst we have ever seen for a regatta, and it turned into one of the nicest days we have ever had!  We are glad you all packed your rain gear, it kept the lightning away!!!

We had a few issues in the morning that got us off to a rough start with the results, which snowballed into having a hard time with the medals.  We appreciate your patience, and please know that we are always trying to do the best we can, and keep the results accurate!

I have personally gone over the results, checked the finish line sheets, the starter's sheets (found some clues here, lol!), combed through the points, tweaked them where necessary (no changes in standings) and have finally posted the results.

We are already making plans for the 20th Annual Halifax Summer Regatta:   we are going to a 2 day event, Juniors on the 4th Saturday, Master's on the 4th Sunday of July!  We will expand the events for Juniors to include 8+s, and any other event that we did not offer in order to keep the day manageable.  We will be able to start at a reasonable time in the morning, have centers further apart, and be able to enjoy the day before late afternoon storms come in.

Master's, you will be able to finish your Sunday cup of coffee, and still get home in one day :)
