Take the Long Island Expressway East to exit 72. Take route 25 east for 2 1/4 miles to Peconic Ave. There is a traffic light at this corner with a Chase bank on the right.  It is the sixth traffic light after exiting the Expressway. (See a or b below).

(a) Buses and vehicles with boats continue straight for 0.15 miles to McDermott Ave. There is a traffic light here and a Methodist Church on the left. Turn right (the attendants will move the barricade). Park where instructed.

(b) Cars should also continue straight from the Chase Bank corner for 500 feet to a narrow lane on the right. There is a sign for Municipal Parking and a Diner on the corner. Turn right into the lane and then left into the parking area and park where available.

This location is the Riverhead Peconic Waterfront Park.
