Directions to the Fairport Crew Club boathouse
located in Perinton Park off Fairport Rd in Fairport, a suburb east-southeast of Rochester, NY


Fastest route from points east or west of Rochester -- blue route (map below)
1.  Get on the NYS Thruway/Rte 90 and head toward Rochester, NY.

2.  Get off the thruway at Exit 45. This is the exit for Route I-490, Route 96, Victor and Fairport

3.  After the tollbooth, bear to the left to get onto I-490 West          . Go for about 5 miles

4.  Get off at Exit 26 - Route 31 - Pittsford.
     Turn LEFT onto Route 31 East. This will be towards Palmyra. Go 0.4 miles

5.  At the first traffic light turn LEFT onto Ayrault Road. Go 0.75 miles.

6.  At the first traffic light on Ayrault, turnLEFT onto Jefferson Avenue. Go to the end - 1.5 miles
     There is a traffic light at the end.



7.  Turn RIGHT onto Route 31F East - Fairport Rd.

     Stay on Fairport Rd for 0.2  miles.

     The crest in the hill is the bridge over the canal.
     Do not cross this bridge.


8.  Just before the bridge, turn RIGHT into the
     combined entrance for Fairview Lanes AMF
     bowling alley and Fairport Office Centre.... just
     about where the school bus is in the pic  ---------->



     Once you've turned off Fairport Rd, continue past the bowling alley. Do not park in the bowling alley parking
     lots. Only boat trailers may be parked behind the bowling alley.
     All other vehicles take the first LEFT turn after the bowling alley lots into the office park parking lots.

9.  Bear LEFT in the office park parking lots to see the FCC boathouse up on the berm ahead. Supplies can be
     unloaded at the corner of the parking lot nearest the bowling alley & boathouse.  Look for a wood chipped path
     from the lot to the boathouse. Please park along the berm area, away from the office buildings as much as
     possible.

Alsoknownaslots-of-traffic-lights-but-you-get-a-great-view-of-our-boathouse-from-the-roaddirections.The distance is about the same from the center ofBaldwinsville. Figureabout 1 hour 20 minutes or so drive.

1.  Get on the NYS Thruway/Rte 90 and head toward Rochester, NY.

2.  Get off the thruway at Exit 45. This is the exit for Route I-490, Route 96, Victor and Fairport

3.  After the tollbooth, bear to the right toward Route 96 - Victor - Fairport
     At the traffic light at the end of the entrance ramp onto Rte 96, turn RIGHT to take Rte 96 North to Fairport (and
     Eastview Mall). Stay on Rte 96 for approximately 1.5 miles.

4. Turn RIGHT onto Rte 250 North - Mosely Rd. Stay on Rte 250 North for about 4.3 miles. You will cross Rte 31 and
    Ayrault Rd.  Stay on Rte 250 North.


5. Turn LEFT onto West Church St - Rte 31F West.
    This intersection has a traffic light. After
    about 0.6 miles, you will cross the Erie
    Canal. Look to your LEFT. That beige
    building is the FCC boathouse along the
    west side of the canal.

6. Take the first LEFT turn after the Erie Canal Bridge. This in an entrance shared by Fairport Lanes AMF Bowling
    Alley and Fairport Office Centre.  

7. Once you've turned off Fairport Rd, continue past the bowling alley. Do not park in the bowling alley parking
    lots. Only boat trailers may be parked behind the bowling alley.
    All other vehicles take the first LEFT turnafter the bowling alley lots into the office park parking lots.

8. Bear LEFT in the office park parking lots to see the FCC boathouse up on the berm ahead. Supplies can be
