Directions

Starting Line.  Englewood Picnic Area & Boat Basin (Bloomer's Beach), Englewood, NJ (Latitude N40°52'42' Longitude - W73°56'44') is about two miles north of the George Washington Bridge, at the base of Dyckman Hill Road (which is the continuation of Palisade Avenue at Exit 1, off the Palisades Interstate Parkway).

Please note.  Large trailers going to the finish line must use the southern park entrance off River Road at the Fort Lee-Edgewater border, since the northern entrance is inaccessible for such vehicles (due to hair-pin turns).  For directions to the southern park entrance, follow the Ross Dock Picnic Area directions on the Palisades Interstate Park webpage:

Finish Line. Car and trailer parking is available beginning Friday, 9-Sep-11, at the Nyack Municipal Marina, just north of Nyack's Memorial Park (2 Depew Avenue, Nyack,NY 10960).

Parking

Boat, Equipment & Trailer Drop-off and Parking. 

• Teams arriving Friday may drop off boats,equipment and/or trailers at either the Englewood Boat Basin or Nyack Municipal Marina venues.   

• Please note: the Englewood Picnic Area closes at dusk and the gates are locked until dawn; In contrast, there is no security locked gate at the Nyack Municipal Marina – the area is accessible 24 hours;  

• Teams arriving on Saturday morning may drop equipment off at the launch site, then drive the trailer to the Nyack Municipal Marina finish line. 

• There is limited parking for cars in the parking lot just north of Memorial Park. 

Shuttle Transportation

We can arrange shuttles, if needed, to transport athletes to and from the start/finish lines before and after the event. Please contact River Rowing if you have any questions or need assistance with any logistical arrangements.
