Please take note that the RCA Board of Directors has decided that, in the interest of clarity, consistency and safety, that section 6.1 of the National Rowing Championships 2013 Technical Package be revised as follows:
The FISA maximum weight for a single male sculler (72.5 kg) shall be permitted in the lightweight single sculls events as well as in the lightweight pair oared events. The FISA maximum weight for a single female sculler shall be 59 kg plus an allowance of 3 kg, making the maximum permissible weight 62 kg.
And, that this change is to be for 2013 only and a review of the Technical Package be undertaken post the 2013 NR
