Tulsa Route 66 Regatta

Races:
All races will be run on a 1000-meter course. Races include Open, Master’s, Junior’s events. Please limit the hot seating!! See race schedule for more information.
 
Age/Handicaps:
Masters are 27 years old or older. A rower’s age is determined from the age on the last day of 2005. All Masters events will be handicapped except for the races that are already divided by age group. Tulsa Rowing Club will use a reverse handicap of the USRA handicap system for rowers under the age of 27 years old. Juniors must be enrolled as full-time high school students on the day of the regatta.
 
Regatta Meeting:
A regatta meeting will be held on Saturday morning at the Tulsa Rowing Club boathouse. The meeting will begin at 7:30 am sharp. All rowers should attend.
 

Boat Storage & Security:

Shells may be stored in the parking lot of the Tulsa Rowing Club the night prior to the event.  Your organization must drop off the trailer between 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm, Friday before the event.   Trailer parking is at no charge.  Security will be provided after 7 pm.

 

 

Bow Numbers:
Please supply your own bow numbers, 1-7.

Medals:

Medals will be awarded to first, second, and third place.  The Charles Oliphant Team Point Trophy will go to the organization that accumulates the most points during the regatta.  Point counts per medal event are:  first – 10 points, second – 6 points, and third – 3 points.

 

First Aid:

The Tulsa Fire Department will be on-site for medical emergencies.
