We've moved in to our new boathouse and hosted our first winter programming in our new home. That's great news! But the sewer project that requires a river crossing, which had been stopped due to pending lawsuits, is back under construction and is a problem for racing distances beyond 1K on the river. We were hopeful the delays and pauses wouldn't affect spring racing, but we have also not publicized our race much due to these questions. 

 

We are moving the May 3rd B&B to Hueston Woods State Park, but we running it as a scrimmage. We've been in touch with the park and they are expecting us. That gives us 6 unmarked lanes and wet launching off a sandy beach. The venue is great for racing and has hosted CANAMEX, the Jr. National Team selection camps in years past and this event in years when the river was high. We'd run coach lead (NCAA dual style) pieces with no referees.
