Collegiate Small Boat Challenge

W1x, W2x, W2-

There is no lightweight categories, however lightweight teams may enter as open boats.

 

Racing Format

IOn Saturday afternoon there will be a 2000 meter time trial.  The results Saturday's time trial will be used to seed Sunday morning's finals.  Finals will be run utilizing a 6 lane racing format.

 

Entries

The total number of entries will be limited to a total of approximately 120 boats.  Depending on entries, each team may be limited to 4 entries per event.  Teams are asked to submit applications for entries on RegattaCentral, prioritizing the entries. 

 

The deadline for entries is Friday, October 24, 11:59pm EDT.  Crews will be notified of accepted crews by the morning of Monday, October 14.

 

Entries should be submitted through RegattaCentral.

Entry fees are:

  1x - $45

  2x - $65

  2-  - $65

 

There is no late registration.

 

Athletes

Athletes should represent a University or College Varsity or Club Rowing Program.

Athletes are only allowed to row in one event (e.g. 1x , 2x or 2-)

 

Boats and Trailers

There is space for trailers at the Caspersen Rowing Center, however the space is limited and crews are encouraged to share trailers where it is possible. 

 

Practice

Practice is allowed on the course from 10:30am until 12:30pm on Saturday, November 1, 2014
