2015 Lanier Sprints Cancelled
Dear Coaches and Competitors,
After much consideration and regret the Lake Lanier Rowing Club has decided to cancel this year’s Lanier Sprints Regatta which was to be held on Sunday, March the 29th.
This year entries for the Lanier Sprints are down considerably from previous years. Many of the races have one or two entries which will not provide the competition level which everyone desires. In the past this has led to many last minute scratches. For whatever the reason, it seems that many teams this year are only attending local/regional regattas.
Entry fees paid at Regatta Central will be credited back to the charge account used. Entry fees that have not been paid will not be charged.
We are sorry for any inconvenience and hope that next year entries will provide more competitive racing.
