TO RIVERSIDE PARK

For mapping purposes to the main regatta entrance, please use 2400 Monroe Ave. NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49505.

Please note: Ample parking is available in the north end of the park, at the "Boat Launch #3" entrance (use 3060 Monroe Ave NE) or in the "Ballfields" parking area (Use 2900 Monroe Ave NE). It is a ~1 mile+ walk from these parking areas to get to the regatta, but it is a beautiful walk. We suggest bringing a bike! Once parked, go towards the river and head south (left), crossing the footbridge. Keep walking... you'll get there.

TO GET TO THE MAIN REGATTA ENTRANCE:

From the east:

Take Interstate 96 west to exit 33, M-44 Connector / Plainfield Avenue.

At the end of the exit ramp, turn RIGHT onto Plainfield Avenue, and head south to the 3 Mile Rd. traffic light (approximately 3/4 mile).

Turn right on 3 Mile Rd. and travel about 1 mile to the roundabout at Monroe Avenue. Follow the roundabout around 3/4 of the way to the second exit, onto Monroe heading south. The main regatta entrance is 1/2 mile south at the next roundabout (Guild St.), at the "Boat Launch #2" entrance.

From the west:

Areas southwest of Grand Rapids, take I-196 east to US-131 north towards Cadillac (Exit 77A), a left-lane exit, and follow the directions from the south, below.

From the south:

Take US-131 North towards Grand Rapids/Cadillac.

Take Exit 88 to Ann Street, on the right.

At the end of the exit ramp, turn LEFT onto Ann Street, and cross the Grand River.

Turn left at the first light across the river, on to Monroe Avenue. The main regatta entrance is 3/4 mile nouth at the second roundabout (Guild St.), at the "Boat Launch #2" entrance.

From the north:

Take US-131 South towards Grand Rapids.

Take Exit 89A to I-96 East, towards Lansing.

Take Interstate 96 east to Exit 33, M-44 Connector / Plainfield Avenue. At the end of the exit ramp, turn LEFT onto Plainfield Avenue, and head south to the 3 Mile Rd. traffic light (approximately 3/4 mile).

TO FIFTH THIRD BALLPARK (FOR STATE GAMES OPENING CEREMONIES):

The ballpark is at 4500 West River Road Northeast, Comstock Park, MI 49321. Drive to US-131 and head north to Exit 91 for West River Drive, and follow the signs. Parking for Opening Ceremonies is $5 beginning at 3:30 pm on Friday June 26.

Grand Rapids Rowing is pleased to provide free parking on Friday night for regatta participants at our boathouse, which is a short walk (~1 mile) south of the ballpark. Go to http://grrowing.org/boathouse/directions for directions!

Please keep in mind that the boathouse access drive is gated, and the gate will be closed and locked at 9 pm.
