Thank you all for attending the 20th Annual Halifax Summer Regatta!!!!  It was our first attempt at a two-day event, and I think that it worked out well :)  We are already coming up with ways to make it better for next year, and hope that we will see you for the 21st Annual!

There are a couple of changes to the Halifax Venue this year, involving destruction and construction of the Orange Ave Bridge (where you could watch the races coming down the course.)  The Bridge has been closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic, and there may be construction equipment on the grass to the east of the court house (Team tent area.)  We have rented the pavillion north of the boathouse, and there are plenty of shady grassy areas for team tents in this area.  We will keep you posted on this as we get closer, it is a 3 year project, so nothing is moving quickly...

Right now there is one crane barge to the east of the channel.  We will have an up to date course map reflection any equipment or obstructions.  There will be no work happening on the weekend, and the bridge span and intercoastal will remain open to boat traffic for the duration of the project.

This is what the Bridge will look like in three years.....
