The Central Pennsylvania Rowing Association(www.rowpa.org) would like to invite you to participate in the first annual Masters of the Susquehanna Regatta during the weekend of August 18th and 19th 2007. This weekend long event features a sculling and rowing clinic, live entertainment, the regatta, and a tub race and “Whatever floats” race. While we have many events planned during this weekend, we encourage you to visit the Sunbury River Festival (www.sunburyriverfestival.com) and the Susquehanna Valley Tourism  Bureau (www.visitcentralpa.org) for more information on other events and activities you can experience this weekend in Central Pennsylvania.

The race will be held on Lake Augusta located between the cities of Shamokin Dam and Sunbury, PA. Race headquarters will be located at the boathouse shared by Bucknell and Susquehanna Universities and the Central Pennsylvania Rowing Association (see star on map below). The race course is a 1,500 meter sprint that will end at the dock in front of the boathouse.
