Coaches -
Please be aware that we have just received information from the US Army Corp of Engineers that Lake Harsha
will crest at the Pavilion tomorrow morning. Essentially, the beach front and grass lawn will be submerged.

We will be able to manage safe racing, however, land space will be at a premium. The parking lot closest to the
usual boat staging area will be used for staging boats. Parking will be at a premium for team vans. Your
corporation in following parking volunteer directions will be greatly appreciated.

Again, please have your athletes prepared for the land conditions.
Best Regards,
Stephanie

Dear Coaches and Rowers –

Welcome to the Midwest Junior Rowing Championship weekend at East Fork State Park!

The schedule is now posted at www.racetrak.com; we have worked very hard in planning this race, which always involves temperamental computer and human moments.

Registration is open from 5:00 – 7:00 tomorrow and we can address any changes that you may have at that time. We would also like to record where your team is staying in case we need to contact you, so ask your parent coordinator where you are staying! Please review the MJRC registration packet that is still available at www.Regattacentral.com so you are familiar with practice and race day traffic patterns on the water and other venue and race information.

Coaches please help us manage the LWT weigh-in procedures by being present, or having another coach present, when your entire boat is present to weigh-in.All teams will be weighed in the order in which they row, bow to stern. We also wish to weigh-in teams by the order of events. There may be times when a team will be asked to jump in front of another, based on event order, please be patient!

We have had an exceptionally wet spring in southwest Ohio and the grounds at the regatta venue are extremelyPlease unload your trailers and then park them in trailer parking lot up the hill from the boat staging area. The races should be exciting enough without having to call in tow-trucks to rescue mud-trapped trailers. Have your rowers dress accordingly for the weather and bring extra clean clothes. muddy!

We will also have bails of straw available at the main tent pavilion for team tent areas,
donations are welcomed to cover the cost of the straw, $4.00 a bale.

We look forward to a weekend of great racing!
