• Land Traffic Pattern - there will be no fence between the boathouses, but please use the in and out docks as posted.

Note - for Time Trials, everything from the docks to the finish line applies as in the finals traffic pattern.  For both the Time Trials and Finals, crews will be allowed to launch no earlier than 45 minutes before their posted start time, but may be permitted to do an extra WU loop before the railroad bridge if we have enough volunteers to place a safety boat there.  This will be confirmed at the 8:00AM meeting.

PRELIMINARY DRAW

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THE DRAW: 

• The Women's and Men's Para 1x races will be combined and will run immediately following the W1x events, as listed in the Time Trial.  
• These two events will also be combined for the finals, but we do not have the ability to do that in RegattaMaster until after the TT.  But the finals will run in the same order as the TT - W1x, Para M/W 1x, M1x, W2- and M2-, with the finals running in reverse order. 
• We will run an E Final for the W1x if there are any late entries received on Saturday AM. 

Just a reminder that bow numbers will only be available at the meeting at 8AM, as per the regatta package. 

A note about the Time Trials...

• A traffic pattern will be posted on Friday - apologies for that oversight. 
• Crews will be able to warm-up in lanes 5 and 6, heading toward the start. 
• Crews will be able to launch no earlier than 45 minutes before their TT start time. 
• Lanes 3 and 4 will be safety lanes.  Umpires will be stationed every 500m, with safety boats between. 
• Racing will be in lanes 1 and 2, with odd #'s in lane 1 and even #'s in lane 2, at 30 second intervals

We are currently working on the draw and expect to have that posted and emailed to participants this afternoon.  In the meantime, please review the REVISED REGATTA PACKAGE. 

Important updates include:

• 1st race at 9AM, Coaches/Participants Meeting at 8AM (1 hour later than originally scheduled)
• Regatta Office opens at 7AM (1 hour later than original scheduled)
• Late entries accepted in person from 7-7:45AM with NO additional late fees.  Payment must be made by credit card.
• Parking will not be enforced.  Please use common sense, be safe, and look out for one another!

THE CITY OF WELLAND IS LOOKING FOR MORE VOLUNTEERS, ESPECIALLY BOAT DRIVERS!  Please reach out if you are available.
