Many teams have spoken and we have listened. We have gone back to the drawing board with the schedule and have made many updates and improvements.   The order of events WILL NOT CHANGE. There could be slight changes to the time gaps pending number of entries, but they will be SMALL ADJUSTMENTS.

If you made entries BEFORE September 10th, go back in and check them because we have eliminated a couple of events from the schedule. (No point in having a "freshman/novice 8+" with only 1 entry followed immediately by a "novice 8+" with 23 entries. It's the same basic event at the same time) We have also changed all "youth" events to read "Junior" just for consistency.

We have moved the pair events closer to the single events during the day because the relative boat speeds are the same so we are not stuck with large gaps of waiting in the schedule.

We have moved the middle school eights to the first event of the day because it helps the officials stay organized by not having to switch courses during the day.

We have eliminated the concept of "wrist bands". You should come to the coaches and coxswains meeting. If you cannot make it, it is still your responsibility to KNOW THE RULES OF THE REGATTA    ---   On that note we have eliminated the Saturday morning coaches and coxswains meeting, so teams can prepare to launch.

We are changing registration to a "pay to play" format. Last year we had too many teams "entering" numerous events only to hold places and scratch later. This created many problems with our cap of 725 boats for the day. We turned away nearly 60 boats only to then have more than 75 scratches...This year, if you're not paid, then you're not entered.

Lastly, we have eliminated HOT Seating. . .

Thank you
